Course Overview
Sports can bring many great things to light in the promotion of teamwork, competition, and generally developing as a person. There can be a dark side to sports though, that often goes under the radar until something “big” happens or a line is crossed. In this course the power dynamics of different parties with an athletic department are explored and how that ties into leadership within the department. It also discusses and elaborates on the implemented of leadership development and the behavior expectations that are placed on those leaders.
