The purpose of this presentation is to discuss the role of athletic trainers who work in the role of director of performance. The course will discuss the Peter Principle and how people progress along their career and must be aware of when it might make sense to work on being promoted or stay in your current role. The course will also discuss the responsibilities of the director role and the leadership qualities the role can require of a person who is working as a director. Lastly, the course discusses skills that could be advantageous for a director role.
