Course Overview
The purpose is to discuss and evaluate the evolution of athletic training education. This course includes a discussion on the expectations of degree changes and what impact they will have on the profession in the future. This course also covers the accreditation and auditing process and describes what educational programs must complete in order to remain in compliance with the standards. Finally, this course covers the potential future requirements for certification maintenance for athletic trainers.
