Course Overview
The purpose of this presentation is to highlight the Industrial Athletic Trainers Society and the work that went into creating the society and the work they are doing. The course will cover the identification of a need for a society to support athletic trainers working in the industrial setting. The course will then cover the differences in reporting structure and other aspects of administration when compared to traditional athletic departments. Lastly, you’ll learn about how athletic trainers design work responsibilities to decrease overuse injuries.
