Course Overview
The purpose of this presentation is to examine the role athletic trainers can play in PRN coverage. The course will address the gap that can exist in post-event care with PRN work and what ideas there to help minimize this potential issue. The incorporation of telehealth into athletic training practice will be discussed and focus on why it hasn’t become a bigger part of practice due to many confounding factors. Lastly, the course will cover the PRN work standards and how to help the consistency across the country.
