Course Overview

Collegiate athletic departments are big and complex. In this course, you’ll learn about the financial structure of a public Division 1 institution. This course will include state institutions’ salary regulations and describe the evolving pay scale that they utilize. You’ll also learn about job classifications and compensation parameters that are utilized in public institutions. Lastly, the course will cover how athletic trainers can negotiate a job offer more appropriately.
