We interview experts around the country from all health/nutrition/performance professions as well as include round table discussions covering major topics and questions. Our goal is to provide as much information as we can that is useful to viewers/listeners, and do it all at no cost.

The purpose of this course is to cover all aspect of environmental cold injuries and the position statement put out by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. The course will cover prevention techniques that can be implemented when participation is occurring in a cold weather environment. Additionally, the course will cover how to care for cold injuries and the best practices to implement in order to achieve the best outcomes if an injury were to occur. Lastly, a discussion on how to your EAP fits into cold injury prevention and management.

The purpose of this presentation is to provide an update on the management of lateral ankle sprains and share the most recent evidence supporting this management. The course will start with a review of the most recent up-to-date evidence on rehabilitaiton following a lateral ankle sprain injury. Additionally, this course will discuss the role of the medial ankle complex in a lateral ankle sprain injury. Lastly, this course will discuss return to play considerations and how to best implement it into your plan for returning patients back from this injury.
