Meet Deb

Deb has recently accepted a new position where she will be a coach with the UW-La Crosse volleyball team as well as a role within the athletic department. Previously Deb was the Associate Chair of the Exercise and Sport Science Department at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse and the Director of the Physical, Adapted, and School Health Education Program. Deb started her career as a high school physical and health educator before moving onto coaching and teaching at the collegiate level in Defiance, OH and at Winona State University in Winona, MN.  After earning her doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Northern Iowa, Deb moved on from coaching into a full-time teaching position at Loras College in Dubuque, IA. Deb has been at UWL for 9 years. 

Deb brings a ton of knowledge and connections when it comes to physical education and getting people active in their lives. We are fortunate to have her join the board with her expertise.
