Course Overview
The purpose of this course is to get into the science and application of blood flow restriction (BFR) training. BFR has gained a lot of popularity over the recent years and this course will discuss the physiological rationale for the use of BFR with a patient. Information will include an examination of the neuromuscular adaptations associated with BFR in healthy populations and how that could apply to pre-hab and performance overall. Finally, BFR is examined with its use in patients with musculoskeletal pathologies.
