The purpose of this presentation is to educate healthcare providers, athletic trainers, athletes, parents and coaches on the importance of pre-season preparations to make to ensure brain health, optimize the brain for athletic participation and limit concussion risk. By the end of this webinar, the viewer should have the basic understanding of ways to prepare the brain for athletic performance and ensure brain health throughout the season.
The course will cover building a resilient brain, baseline testing and prevention, identification of common and uncommon concussion symptoms, and the imortance of the first 48 hours.
