Course Overview

Cannabis has long point a topic of discussion and its use by the athletic population for a variety of purposes. The purpose of this course is to provide resources and education on cannabis use and where and how athletic trainers can provide resources to the populations they work with. This course will also discuss the policy changes that the NCAA has put into place and how that has lifted cannabis and marijuana from the banned list. Lastly, this course will identify the stigmas around cannabis use and how those can be addressed.
