Course Overview
The purpose of this presentation is to learn about the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association and really understand the similarities and differences between athletic trainers and athletic therapists. The course will go through the history of CATA and its affiliation and break away from the NATA. Additionally, the course will go into depth about the practice abilities of athletic therapists and how different aspects of what they can do are different from what athletic trainers can do. Get a great picture of the athletic therapist profession in Canada.
