Course Overview

The purpose of this presentation is to summarize the National Athletic Trainers Association’s Position Statement on lightning safety. An injury or death by lightning is one of the most preventable injuries that is out there. This course will cover the considerations for creating a lightning policy and what items need to be included. The course will also discuss the implementation of strategies for the lightning policy and how to get other key stakeholders involved in the process.
