Course Overview
The purpose of this presentation is to summarize what the minimum wrestling weight is and how it was created and how it was utilized in the wrestling weight certification process. The presenters discuss the history of how it was established and the process that occurred to find the most reliable way to reproduce the testing while also making it accessible to wrestlers across the country. The further discuss what aspects all are part of determining minimum wrestling weight and why that is important in trying to keep weight cutting as safe as possible.
