The purpose of this presentation is to discuss all aspects around piriformis syndrome and the problems it can cause. The course will cover the anatomy of the posterior hip and what all might be playing a contributing factor to a diagnosis of piriformis syndrome. Next, the course will cover the evaluation process for suspected piriformis syndrome and how you can work to focus your diagnosis. Finally, therapeutic interventions will be covered in order to address piriformis syndrome and hopefully help patients get rid of this pain in the butt.
