The purpose of this presentation is to summarize the relevant information as it pertains to plantar fasciopathy. The course will start with covering the relevant anatomy of the foot and lower leg and how it relates to the plantar fascia. The course will then examine treatment options for patients with plantar fasciopathy and what might be the most supported by the evidence in managing this complex condition. Lastly, the course will examine the biomechanical deficits associated with plantar fasciitis and how these deficits guide the rehabilitation process.
