The purpose of this presentation is to summarize information around the scapular and its role in shoulder injury. The course will start by discussing what scapular dyskinesis is and how it play into shoulder function. Next, the relevant anatomy and kinematics of the scapulothoracic joint will be covered. Followed by the evaluation of the scapulothoracic joint and all the subtle angles and tilts that play into the evaluation. Last, the course will cover rehabilitation ideas for the scapulothoracic joint that you can work into your rehab programs.
