Course Overview

The purpose of this presentation is to discuss the different stress fracture sites in the lower extremities and the implications for their healing. The course will discuss the risk factors associated with lower extremity stress factors and how you can work to mitigate them as much as possible. Next, the course will recognize clinical findings that may indicate a stress fracture is in the process and potentially going to become symptomatic. Lastly, the course will talk about the interventions and return-to-play strategies to implement.
