Course Overview

The purpose of this presentation is to summarize and understand the proposed mechanism of action of therapeutic ultrasound. Depending on who you ask, therapeutic ultrasound isn’t worth the time it takes to conduct a treatment but this CEU gives more of the basics to help you make the decision yourself. This course will interpret the evidence for therapeutic ultrasound in musculoskeletal pathologies. Finally, the course will explain how to maximize the outcomes of therapeutic ultrasound and where it might fit with your treatment/rehabilitation philosophy.
