Corey is a certified athletic trainer that works at UW-La Crosse (primarily with womens basketball) and also in a local physicians clinic as a physician extender. Corey has worked in multiple settings in his career including both a large and small high school, collegiate athletics and within a sports medicine clinic.
We discuss how Corey has adjusted his clinical practice based on the demands of the setting. We dive into how he managed to triage hundreds of athletes in the high school setting while trying to maximize rehab in that setting. We discuss how that is different now that he works with a team of 18 and how that might change his approach.
A great conversation with a lot of good take aways. Check it out.
