David Zettler is an ATC that is currently in medical school for osteopathic medicine. David achieved his master’s degree from UW-La Crosse in Human Performance. We discuss how going through an athletic training education program helped set David up for success during medical school. We also talk about how he has been able to combine all his experiences and schooling to evolve as a practitioner. While the goal for David was always medical school David tells us why he doesn’t regret at all going though the path he has to get to where he is. David discusses future settings that he believes athletic trainers can excel in and how that fits in with work under physicians. Unique insight.
