In this episode we get to talk to Jennifer Volberding who does a lot of everything at Oklahoma State University. Jen has done a lot in her athletic training career so far. She spent a significant amount of time in the clinical setting working with a variety of sports at different levels that gave her unique insight as she moved into her role as an educator.
Jen is the program director of the master’s program at OSU and the program is entering year six. We talk about how the changing landscape of athletic training education will have an effect on the future of the profession. Jen has some strong thoughts about the change in degree level and how that has affected students and ultimately professionals. A great point of view to take a listen to as we see how this change will effect everything moving forward.
