We had the opportunity to sit down with Jennifer Rheeling who is in AT in the high school setting in Washington D.C. Along with doing her work in the high school, Jennifer has been instrumental in getting D.C. set up with established licensure laws that will athletic trainers to utilize all their skill sets. It has been and continues to be a unique experience and one that we learned a lot from.
Jennifer is also the incoming chair of the secondary school committee within the NATA. She shared with us your main items she is looking to work on when she officially takes the position over this summer. A follow up episode will be necessary to see how working on such an impactful national committee is and all the experiences that go around it. Check it out.
