In this part of the ‘Wish I Knew’ series we discuss nutrition. This topic can get in depth so quickly and there are so many facets of it that it could go on for hours, we tried to keep it short.
Nutrition can get really complex, very quickly and that makes it even harder to apply good principles to your life and to others you serve. Some of the major take aways I’ve learned over the years is you have to start with the basics and try and cover as much of those as you can to start. From there you can start looking into the complex but you have to remember “there is no free lunch in physiology”. Anything you choose as an intervention is going to impact other things.
Here is what I’ve learned.
